About

Like-honey.com was registered on January 14, 2004, and it has outlasted several things in the three years or so without losing it's true purpose -- to be an outlet of my verbal and visual expression. To collect my memories and feelings -- in words and photos -- where I can't forget them, so I can look back and see the growth I've made. I'm addicted to writing and designing, and especially writing to an audience. This is my experience. I can only hope my silly, and sometimes confusing, babble will amuse you or maybe even interest you, but until I can be sure I'll just act like it does.

Design

The design mostly will feature vectors of self-portraits (one of the best ways to prove copyright, eh?), illustrations, or my photography. Afterall, this site is about me. The current layout, named Like-honey: Paperweight features an illustration drawn by my good friend Jesenia, and a winter scene created by yours truly. Lyrics from a song called "Paperweight" by Joshua Radin and Schuyler Fisk are also included as it is connected to a very special memory.

Behind The Curtain

Like-honey.com was purchased on January 14, 2004, and was officially opened sometime in February. It was registered with GoDaddy and has been loyally hosted by Host Matters since its beginning.

This site is is validated to meet the XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS standards recommended by the W3C. It is best viewed in a resolution of 1024x768, and has been tested in Internet Explorer and Firefox - both browsers have been shown to display all pages properly.

The Name

The name like-honey came to me immediately. no searching or debating occured. It's to indicate how sweet people say I am. Urban Rhapsody(tm) is the subtitle of my site. I personally think it perfectly describes the starting point of my experiences as well as my writing style:
